Field hockey, boys soccer get wins

The Whitehall field hockey team was a 4-0 winner over Wilson.

After a scoreless first quarter, Whitehall got on the board on a goal from Josephine Shultz on an assist from Lydia Keppel in the second.

The girls would increase their lead with a third quarter goal from Ava Kneller on an assist from Kerigan Dreisbach.

In the fourth, the Zephs added two more goals as Emily Kern made it 3-0 thanks to a pass from Olivia Fonzone. Molly McFetridge would make 4-0 on Keppel’s second assist of the day.

Pen Argyl was a 2-1 winner over Whitehall but no other information was available.

In boys soccer, the Zephs were 3-2 winners over Nazareth.

Eddie Saloum got the Zephs on the board with an unassisted goal to make it 1-0.

Nazareth would tie the game in the first thanks to Nick Puk’s unassisted tally.

The Zephs would fall behind 2-1 in this game thanks to the Eagles second half score from Alex Roberts off a pass from Cohen Lutz.

Whitehall wouldn’t be denied as Alejandro Zuniga helped his team to victory with two-straight goals. His first was unassisted to tie the game at 3-3. His second came on an assist from John Hanna.

Nazareth’s Andrew Patton made 4 saves while WSHS junior keeper Cole Richards also had 4 saves
