The Greater Allentown CROP will have its 45th annual Greater Allentown CROP Hunger Walk on Oct. 13 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 140 S. Ott St., Allentown.
The Hunger Walk is 1:30 p.m. Registration begins 1 p.m.
There will be a 10K route and a “Golden Mile” route.
Walkers or team leaders should register at crophungerwalk.org/allentownpa.
Walkers who raise $150 or more by Oct. 13 will earn a free T-shirt.
T-shirts will also be available for purchase at the CROP Hunger Walk on Oct. 13.
The CROP Hunger Walk is a great intergenerational fellowship and service event for families, youth groups, adult groups, businesses, organizations, and congregations.
The Greater Allentown CROP Hunger Walk helps food-insecure neighbors locally through the Conference Kitchen and the Allentown Area Ecumenical Food Bank.
This CROP Walk funds also support Church World Service’s lifesaving disaster assistance, displacement assistance, and long-term development assistance with our neighbors in need throughout the United States and around the globe, including victims of floods, fires, droughts, earthquakes, wars and other humanitarian crises.
