A 38-year-old male, of Wilkes-Barre, was charged Aug. 22 with alleged simple possession of a controlled substance after an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, according to Salisbury police.

Scattering rubbish

A 20-year-old male, of Bethlehem and a 24-year-old female, of Allentown, were charged with allegedly scattering rubbish in the area of Constitution Drive Aug. 23, according to Salisbury police.

DUI

A 59-year-old male, of Fountain Hill, was charged Aug. 31 with allegedly driving under the influence and careless driving after a traffic stop in the area of Spiegel Street, according to Salisbury police.

Scam

A resident of the 1000 block of Hawthorn Road was convinced to send $15,000 in two installments to an unknown person, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Aug. 29.
