Moore Township: Christ UCC plans fall bazaar

Christ United Church of Christ, Little Moore, 913 S. Mink Road, Danielsville, has planned its fall bazaar for 9 a.m.-noon Oct. 5. There will be homemade apple dumplings and baked goods, White Elephant, crafts, home-canned items and more. The kitchen will also be open, and food will be available for takeout.

Free goody bags will be given to the first 20 adults and five children.

Reminder: Moore Township Board of Supervisors meets 6 p.m. Oct. 1 at the municipal building, 2491 Community Drive.

Moore Township Land and Environmental Protection Board next meets 7 p.m. Oct. 14 at the township municipal building.

Moore Township Recreation Committee’s next meeting is planned for 7 p.m. Oct. 16 at the recreation center, 635 English Road. The committee’s goals are to assist township children and families.

Bingo is held 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive. Doors open 5 p.m.

The night includes prizes, progressive jackpot, rob the piggy bank and wash line bingo.

Moore Township is implementing a new committee — Americans With Disabilities Act Committee. The three members will serve one-year terms.

Moore Township is looking to fill a vacancy on the historical commission. The role is for a five-year term.

Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church, 696 Johnson Road, Moorestown, hosts a Boy Scout Troop 74 meeting 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday in the social hall. Boy Scouts are for boys and girls 10 years old and up.

Moore Township Police Department reminds residents to drive extra carefully and keep an eye out for students now that school is back in session.
