Kathryn Elizabeth (Heist) Heimbrook, 93, died Sept. 14, 2024, at the age of 93. She was born on Oct. 18, 1930, to the late Edward E. and Lila V. (Anders) Heist. She was the wife of the late William H. Heimbrook for 62 years.

She was a 1948 Liberty HS graduate.

She worked at Valley Federal Savings for several years and then at National Advertising, Allentown, until she retired.

A seamstress, knitter and crocheter, she won ribbons at the Allentown Fair for her handiwork.

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Aswad (David) of Gambrills, Maryland; Nancy Freeman (William) of Bethlehem Township and Joanne Heimbrook of Allentown; three granddaughters, Sarah Caine (David), Alison Valish and Jennifer Pieson; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Edward Heist of Bethlehem; and a sister, Linda Kresge of Allentown.

She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Heist.
