Kids Roundup
The Northampton golf team picked up a couple of wins as they headed to the postseason.
The Kids beat rival Whitehall at Southmoore’s par-71 course 371-424.
The Kids’ 371 score was led by Gavin Pychinka’s 71. Kohler Strohl shot 72 and Jayden Bleiler was next with a 73.
NHS also got nice performances from Gabe Gower’s 77 and CJ Stumpf’s 78.
Whitehall was led by Jack Loyd’s 81.
Matt Nomie shot 83 as did Julian Saba.
Logan Shean carded an 87 and Brett Cohan had a 90.
Northampton defeated Bangor at Southmoore, 396-478.
Strol shot 76 to lead the Kids. Stumpf and Pychinka shot 78s while Bleiler had a 79. Derek Moyer carded an 85.
Bangor was led by Beau Thomas’s 80.
Tyler Balok and Owen Mera scored 97s. Sean Coleman shot 101 and John Koehler shot 103.
The Press will have results of the EPC Tournament next week as the event took place after Press deadlines.

The Northampton tennis team was a 4-2 winner over Pleasant Valley
The girls got two wins each in double and singles matches. Gianna Lorenz won 7-5, 6-1 at two singles and Claire Lack was a 6-2, 6-1 winner at three singles.
Lea Fornarotto and Emily Kemmerer won at two doubles by a score of 6-1, 6-1. They defeated Breslin Beck and Manissa Hauck.
The three team of Olivia Hayes and Hayden Nagy won 6-4, 6-1 over Devon Bush and Averie Acevedo.
