Thomas J. Yastrop, 75, of Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Northampton, died at home Aug. 16, 2024. He was the husband of Janet (Filoromo) Yastrop for 41 years.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Kalavoda) Yastrop.

He had various jobs through his life.

He built a motocross track in Slatington, where AMA-sanctioned races were held.

He recreated many 18th-century style furniture pieces from reclaimed wood and restored his 1761 log and stone home in Northampton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister; a brother; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; and many friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
