Robert C. Savitz, 87, of Nokomis, Fla., died Sept. 6, 2024, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Mary A. (Daluisio) DelRe Savitz for 46 years.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charles H. and Pearl (Bender) Savitz.

He was a 1954 graduate of Catasauqua High School.

He served honorably in the U.S. Army.

He worked as a welder and structural steel fitter for Fuller Company and Lehigh Structural Steel Company. Later, he and his wife owned and operated Marbo Farms at the Allentown Fairgrounds Farmers Market for 20 years.

He was a lifetime member of the former Christ Lutheran Church, Schoenersville.

He is survived by a brother, William B. with Nadine of Northampton; two stepdaughters, Mary Ann Bickley of Hanover Township and Pat Sabo with Ray of Salisbury Township; four grandchildren, Nick with Tami, Joel with Deborah, Jeff with Erin and Ken with Sharon; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a nephew, William Hantz with Donna; and a close friend, Bonnie Nagle.

He was predeceased by a niece, Suzette Hantz; and a stepson-in-law, Joseph Bickley.
