Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

AUG. 27

Police checked on the welfare of males in the 2100 block of Canal Street and the 800 block of Dewey Avenue and on a female at East 11th Street and Washington Avenue.

Officers assisted a male in the 2300 block of Washington Avenue and a female in the 1400 block of Laubach Avenue.

A domestic dispute occurred in the 1700 block of Main Street.

In the 600 block of Main Street, officers investigated a report of a disturbance.

AUG. 28

A civil matter in the 1200 block of Main Street was addressed.

In the 1400 block of Main Street, police conducted a traffic stop.

Officers assisted Coplay police at East Ninth and Adaire streets and a male at East 22nd Street and Washington Avenue.

Domestic disputes occurred in the 1500 block of Main Street and the 300 block of East 11th Street.

A suspicious male in the 1700 block of Main Street was reported.

Suspicious activity in the 600 block of Main Street was handled by the department.

AUG. 29

Domestic disputes were investigated in the unit block of East 13th Street and the 1000 and 1800 blocks of Main Street.

Police checked on the welfare of males in the 1300 block of Kingston Court and the unit block of East 19th Street and on a female in the 300 block of Main Street.

Officers checked the area in the 2100 block of Canal Street and on West Fourth Street.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 1000 block of Main Street, at Cherryville Road and West 26th Street, at West Ninth and East 21st streets and on Washington Avenue.

A suspicious vehicle at East 20th Street and Cactus Alley was reported.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious male in the 2100 block of Canal Street.

Police assisted a male in the 2000 block of Center Street.

In the 2100 block of Washington Avenue, a report of a neighbor issue was addressed.

A male shoplifting at Redner’s Quick Shoppe, 33 W. 21st St., was reported.

Suspicious activity in the 2100 block of Washington Avenue was investigated.

AUG. 30

Juvenile problems were investigated in the 1300 block of Stewart Street, at Line Alley and East Seventh Street and in the 1000 block of Canal Street.

Officers checked on the welfare of females in the 1600 block of Canal Street and at Main and King streets and on a male at Canal and West 14th streets.

In the 900 block of Main Street, a domestic dispute occurred.

A warrant was served in the 1200 block of Laubach Avenue. Officers had observed a male with active warrants, and he was taken into custody, transported to the station and released to Whitehall Police Department.

Police addressed a neighbor complaint in the 100 block of East 17th Street.

A reportable accident involving one vehicle took place in the 800 block of Main Street.

AUG. 31

A domestic dispute had police in the 1000 block of Main Street.

Traffic stops were conducted at West 21st and Canal streets, in the 1200 block of Main Street and at East Fourth and Main streets.

A male trespassing in the 1300 block of Newport Avenue was reported.

Officers checked on the welfare of a female in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

In the 2100 block of Canal Street, police responded to a report of a fight.

A report of loud music in the 100 block of Jeffrey Lane was filed with the department.

SEPT. 1

Police checked on the welfare of females in the unit block of West 21st Street and on a male in the 300 block of Main Street.

A disturbance in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue was investigated.

SEPT. 2

Traffic stops were conducted in the unit block of West 21st Street and the 400 block of East 10th Street.

A suspicious male in the 300 block of Main Street was reported.

SEPT. 3

Officers assisted Pennsylvania State Police-Troop M, Bethlehem, in the 6900 block of Weaversville Road, East Allen Township.

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the unit block of West 21st Street.

Officer Perry and K-9 Chico assisted Nazareth police in the 200 block of South Main Street, Nazareth.

A neighbor complaint in the 2100 block of Washington Avenue was addressed.

Suspicious activity in the 1000 block of Canal Street was reported.

At Main and 18th streets, a reportable accident involved two vehicles.

Traffic stops were conducted in the unit, 300, 1000, 1200, 1600 and 2300 blocks of Main Street and the unit block of West 21st Street.
