Marie A. (Kloiber) Rheiner, 89, of Emmaus, died Sept. 8, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit, 17th and Chew streets, Allentown. She and her husband, John H. Rheiner, celebrated 67 years of marriage in March. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Agnes (Roguski) Holland.

She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Emmaus.

She was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School, Class of 1952.

Her greatest joy was her family. Her favorite hobby was baking. She loved making everyone’s favorite desserts for birthdays, holidays and special occasions. From hand decorated character cakes, banana split, lemon lush, cheesecakes, sticky buns and so much more. She baked everything with love and created lasting memories for all.

She is survived by her husband; daughter, Joanne Hilty and her husband, Gary; son, John and his wife, Mary; grandsons, Matthew (Rachel), John, Timothy, Luke; great-grandson, Henry; brother, Robert Kloiber. She was predeceased by sisters, Joan, Betsy and Fran.

Contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
