Fullerton: Community center to hold cash bingo
Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., West Catasauqua, will have its next cash bingo Sept. 22. Bingo begins 1 p.m., and doors open noon. Bingo will continue with tricky tray, 50/25/25 raffle, piggy number, lightning game and more.
There will be refreshments available for purchase.
Those attending are asked to bring a nonperishable food item donation for Whitehall Food Pantry. Also welcome are paper products (facial tissues, paper towels or toilet paper) and pet food. You will receive a strip of specials to be played on the first four specials — not the jackpot.
Reserving seats is not necessary; however, you are welcome to do so.
Note: Remember the community center has now increased its cash prize payouts.
Call or text 610-533-1357 if you have questions or want to reserve seats.

St. John’s UCC is a proud and continuing contributor to Whitehall Food Pantry. The goal for September and October is to collect 200 boxes or bags of stuffing to distribute on all four Mondays in November for Thanksgiving dinners. If you want to donate items, place the food in the shopping cart in the foyer of the church, 575 Grape St.
Monetary contributions are also welcome and will go toward the purchase of turkeys and hams for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
If you would like to volunteer in the morning or evening of the fourth Monday of the month, contact Gary Black at 484-274-2405 or gary.t.black@outlook.com.
