AUG. 23
Police served a protection-from-abuse order in the 200 block of South Sixth Street.
Officers investigated reports of vandalism in the 100 block of Coplay Street and vandalism to vehicles in the 100 block of South Front Street.
An animal complaint brought police to the 100 block of South Front Street.
A driver was cited for driving with an expired license in the area of North Fifth and Chestnut streets.
Officers assisted Northampton police at North Front and Chestnut streets and North Catasauqua police in the 100 block of South Second Street.

Drivers were cited for speeding at South Front Street and Keystone Alley and Chestnut and North Front streets.
Multiple courtesy transports were provided for residents at Coplay Community Days.

Officers assisted with an attempted burglary in the 1400 block of Main Street, North Catasauqua.
Police conducted multiple traffic stops throughout the borough for stop sign violations and speeding.

A report of suspicious activity brought police to South Front and Lehigh streets.
Officers performed a security check in the 100 block of South Second Street.
Drivers were cited for speeding during traffic stops at Chestnut and North Ruch streets, Chestnut and Maple streets and North Third Avenue and Chestnut Street.

An attempted theft from a vehicle in the area of North Front and North streets was investigated.
Police and the fire department responded to an alarm in the unit block of North Front Street and an unattended campfire on the Ironton Rail Trail.
Drivers were cited for speeding during traffic stops at North Fifth and Chestnut streets, North Second and Chestnut streets and North Sixth and Chestnut streets.

Officers performed a welfare check in the unit block of North Fourth Street.
A driver was cited for speeding during a traffic stop in the 200 block of South Second Street.

Police responded to a phone call request regarding a domestic disturbance at Coplay Saengerbund, 205 S. Fifth St.
Officers handled a report from a visitor at headquarters, 98 S. Fourth St., regarding a possible stalking incident.

Police were on the scene of a reported overdose at Coplay and South Front streets.
A report of a suspicious person in the 900 block of Chestnut Street was investigated.
A welfare check was conducted in the unit block of Keefer Street.
Officers assisted Northampton police in locating a wanted person at Fourth and Main streets.
