Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

AUG. 26

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 400 block of Grove Street, North Catasauqua.

Suspicious activity in the 400 block of Church Street was reported.

AUG. 27

Traffic violations occurred at Walnut Street and Covington Place and at North 14th Street and Bridge Court, with a verbal warning issued for both.

A burglary alarm sounded in the unit block of Covington Place.

In the 200 block of Church Street, a parking complaint was addressed.

Haley Miller, 21, of Allentown, was arrested for simple assault and harassment during a domestic disturbance investigation in the 300 block of Church Street.

AUG. 28

Traffic violations occurred at Fourth and Pine streets, for an expired registration; in the 100 block of Union Street, with a verbal warning issued; and in the 200 block of Front Street, with a verbal warning issued.

AUG. 29

Police assisted citizens in the 700 block of Circle Drive and in the 600 block of Front Street.

A traffic violation occurred in the 300 block of Howertown Road.

In the unit block of Mulberry Street, a reported theft had police at the scene.

Animal complaints were addressed at Bridge and Front streets in the unit block of Lehigh Street.

A reckless driver at Covington Place and Walnut Street was reported.

Officers responded to a missing juvenile report at North 14th and Bridge streets.

At Howertown Road and Wood Street, a parking complaint was investigated.

AUG. 30

Criminal mischief reports were investigated in the 100 block of Second Street and the 700 block of Circle Drive.

AUG. 31

On Second Street, a vehicle stop was conducted; the driver was cited.

A parking complaint in the 100 block of Front Street was addressed.

At South 14th and Race streets, a hit and run took place.

In the 100 block of Second Street, an animal complaint was investigated.

Officers responded to a reported disturbance in the 100 block of Wood Street.

SEPT. 1

Parking complaints were addressed in the 100 block of Front Street and the 200 block of Second Street.

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of Front Street.

Police responded to domestic disturbances at the same residence in the unit block of Covington Place; no arrests were made.

At Front and School streets, a motor vehicle accident occurred with a pedestrian.

A complaint of fireworks in the 100 block of Church Street was filed with the department.

SEPT. 2

Police assisted citizens at Catasauqua Towers, 534 Third St., and in the unit block of West Race Street.

A reportable motor vehicle accident occurred in the 800 block of Bethlehem Road.

At Bridge Street and Howertown Road, officers responded to a report of fireworks.

Officers investigated a welfare check at Pineapple and Race streets.

A reckless driver at Lehigh and Race streets was reported.

SEPT. 3

Traffic violations took place on Second Street and at 14th Street and Circle Drive, with drivers cited and a verbal warning issued.

Police assisted citizens in the 700 block of Circle Drive, at Howertown Road and Oak Street, in the 200 block of Canal Street and in the 800 block of Bethlehem Road.

Two 11-year-old males were cited for harassment during a fight at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St.

In the unit block of Front Street, a threat was investigated.

Officers responded to a theft in the unit block of Mulberry Street.

A temporary protection-from-abuse order was granted in the unit block of Covington Place.

Police and the department’s K-9 provided an assist in the 1400 block of Main Street, Whitehall.

SEPT. 4

Traffic violations took place on Second and Race streets, with the driver cited.

Animal complaints were investigated at North 10th and St. John streets, for a dog found, and in the 500 block of East Wood Street for a found animal, which was returned to its owner.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance, with no arrests, in the unit block of Cambridge Place.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of Poplar Street.
