Christ United Church of Christ, 109 S. Chestnut St., will be holding its annual rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 20 in the fellowship hall.

Additional parking is available across the street in the municipal lot.

You can drop off donations from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 19 in the fellowship hall. Hazardous waste, large items and furniture are not allowed for drop-off.

Reminder: Sunday school at Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, has resumed as of Sept. 15, starting 10 a.m., in the old fellowship hall. It is offered to children from age 3 to those in eighth grade.

There are also adult classes that meet 10 a.m. in the upstairs parlor.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church’s parents of Girl Scout Troop 8189 will be having a clothing drive fundraiser noon-4 p.m. Sept. 29. There will be clothes, handbags, belts, linens, coats, blankets and shoes.

To drop off, all items must be in a 13-gallon garbage bag and tied. Paired shoes are accepted but must be bagged separately from other items.
