Authorities need help in finding a Florida man who fled after he allegedly assaulted a young child in Delaware.
A federal arrest warrant was issued for Nehemiah Billie J’Len Garcia, 21.
A reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information leading to Garcia’s arrest.
Authorities detailed the incident in which Garcia is sought as follows:
On June 13, a young child was lured into the shower area at the YMCA Handby Outdoor Center in Wilmington, Del.
The victim was held against their will and sexually assaulted by a male, later identified as Garcia, authorities said.
On June 26, Delaware officials issued an arrest warrant for Garcia. He was charged with two counts of alleged rape first degree causing injury and two counts of an alleged dangerous crime against a minor under 14 criminal sexual conduct.
Garcia also is charged with alleged unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
Federal charges were issued July 29.
Garcia has ties to Philadelphia and to Cape Coral, Fla.
Garcia is described as having black hair and brown eyes. He is 5-foot, 9-inches tall and 150 pounds.
