The Salisbury High School football team dropped to 1-1 with a 42-0 loss to Notre Dame (Green Pond) last Friday night.
The Crusaders (2-0) went ahead 14-0 after one quarter and were up 28-0 at halftime before piling on two more scores in the second half.
Crusader quarterback Matt Bodnar completed 21 of 27 passes for 313 yards while throwing four touchdowns.
Carmine Diaz caught three of those TDs, accounting for all three of his catches in the game. Jonathan Striba had the other touchdown catch while hauling in a team-high seven passes for 84 yards.Eight different Notre Dame players caught passes in the game.
Six Notre Dame players combined for 161 rushing yards on 17 attempts with Jason Frederick leading the way with 43 yards and two scores. Striba and Tommy Murphy also ran for TDs in the game.
The Crusaders have now scored 128 points in their first two games after a 72-64 win over Garden Spot in their opener.
The Falcons, which beat Panther Valley in week 1, will host Wilson Friday night.
The Warriors are 0-2 after getting shut out by Northwestern 47-0 in their opener and losing to Catasauqua 34-14 last weekend.
