Special to The Press

Upper Lehigh Lions presented their annual Roar with the Lions fundraiser at the Neffs Grove on July 26 and 27.

Those attending on Friday were entertained by Midnight Special Band, a Country/Western Band from Allentown, founded by brothers Dennis and David Rehrig in 1988.

Entertainment on Saturday was by the Large Flowerheads, a band that plays homage to the music of the 1960s and early 1970s.

Coupled with lots of good food provided by members of the Upper Lehigh Lions club, everyone was treated to an enjoyable evening regardless of which night they attended.

Member of the Large Flowerheads Colleen Zajacik, bass; Dave Follweiler, keyboard; Dean Velazquez, guitar/vocals; Moe Jerant, drums and Greg Geist, guitar/drums delighted the crowd July 27 at the Upper Lehigh Lions Club fundraiser, Roar with the Lions, in Neffs Grove.

Not everyone was focused on the music at the Upper Lehigh Lions Club fundraiser, Roar with the Lions, in Neffs Grove. Indigo of Slatington found the playground slide to be more entertaining. She was there with mom, Karly.
