Joan M. Kressley, 83, of New Tripoli, died peacefully Sept. 2, 2024, at home.

She and her husband, Robert R. Kressley, celebrated 62 years of marriage in August.

Born in Freeland, she was the daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Neidlinger) Sherman.

She was a member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church, New Tripoli.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her son Dale R. (Doris) Kressley of Andreas; daughter, Nancy, wife of Michael Moser of Germansville; six grandchildren; brother Edward Sherman of Bethlehem; sisters Carol Breidigan of New Ringgold, Althea Ebert of Pottsville, and Marie Abromiters of New Jersey.

She was predeceased by brothers George, Paul and Franklin Sherman; and a sister, Gertrude Makus.
