Lehigh County Historical Society will host an open house and tours at the Claussville One-Room 1893 School House, 2917 Route 100 North, Orefield, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 21.
Discover what it was like to attend school in a one-room school house, built in 1893.
Learn the important role one-room school houses played in U.S. history.
Each session lasts 45 minutes.
The event is free to members and children under 2. There is a fee for nonmember adults and children ages 2-11.
Space is limited, so advance registration is required.
