The Northampton boys soccer team picked up a couple of recent wins.

The team blanked Dieruff 8-0. The Kids got off to a fast start with three first half goals and followed that up with five more in the second half.

Brody Eisenhart scored twice in the first half and Chase Nederostek had one in between. Nederostek assisted on Eisenhart’s first goal with Luca Manino assisting on Eisenhart’s second score. Sebastian Mello assisted Nederostek’s goal.

Nederostek mad it 4-0 in the second half off a pass from Manino. Eisenhart secured a hat trick with his third goal of the game to make it 5-0 off a Mello pass.

Manino got on the board to make it 6-0 from Dante Keen. Mello completed the playmaker, notching his third assist on an Alex Schrampf goal to make it 7-0 before Mello scored his own goal, and the team’s final tally off an Aiden Sugra pass.

Ryan Nahf made one save.

The boys also blanked Central, again, closing the game with a big second half performance.

Sugra gave the Kids a 1-0 lead from a Nederostek pass and NHS took the 1-0 lead into halftime.

From there it was all K-Kids as Nederostek scored twice with Jace Vajda and Eisenhart also adding goals.

Nederostek made it 2-0 from Eisenhart and Vajda 3-0 from Aaron Gutkowski.

Nederostek’s second goal made it 4-0 thanks to a Blaise Anderko setup. Eisenhart’s goal came from Nederostek to make it 5-0.

Nahf made two saves in the win.

Tennis

Stroudsburg knocked off Northampton 5-2.

Both of the Kids wins came in doubles with Addy Slivka and Hayden BilHeimer winning at one doubles 8-4 over Grace Gao and Isabel Gembicki.

The girls also got a win at four doubles with Olivia Hayes and Hayden Nagy beating Aryanna Vidaic and Brielle Burns 2-6, 7-5 (6-4)

The girls lost a tight match to East Stroudsburg South 4-3.

Claire Lack was a winner at three singles beating Sydny Ort 6-1, 6-1.

In doubles, Mya Cruz and Emilee Gaughran won at two in a very close 6-7 (6-8), 6-1, 12-10 match.

Golf

The Northampton golf team was a winner over East Stroudsburg North at Pocono Hills.

Northampton shot a 368 and won 368-498.

Gavin Pychinka shot 69 to lead the way. Jayden Bleiler shot 74 and Kohler Strohl and Gabe Gower both shot 75. Derek Moyer carded an 80 and Owen Churetta shot 81.

ESN was led by Caden McGinley’s 85.
