Starting Sept. 17, Whitehall Township Parks and Recreation will begin aqua aerobics classes 6-7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays through Nov. 7 in the natatorium at Whitehall High School, 3800 Mechanicsville Road.

There is a cost. If you are a Whitehall Township resident, the cost is $10 cheaper.

Whitehall Bible Fellowship Church, 3300 Seventh St., will host a Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative free community meal 4-6 p.m. Sept. 17, for sit-down dining only. The meal, for low-income Whitehall Township and Coplay Borough residents, is guaranteed for the first 100 guests.

Hokey Eagles will hold a Salute the Troops game Sept. 28 at Bob Warke Field, 3151 Lehigh St. The first game starts 11 a.m.

Members of the military will be honored during three of the football games against the Wilson Warriors.

There will also be a bake sale, ice cream truck and more. Proceeds benefit the football team and cheering squad.
