Debra S. Buckwalter, 59, of Kempton, died peacefully Aug. 30, 2024, with her loving family by her side at home.

Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of Mary (Wenger) Buckwalter and the late Terry D. Buckwalter.

She graduated from the Berks Intermediate Unit, Boyertown.

She worked for Professional Pharmacy, Pottstown, and the former Bauses Pharmacy, Boyertown.

She volunteered at the Boyertown Area Multi-Service helping with the Meals on Wheels program.

She greatly enjoyed participating in the various socialization recreation programs offered by Helping Hands, Bechtelsville.

In addition to her loving mom, she is survived by her brothers Terry D. and John H. Buckwalter, both of Gilbertsville; nephews Sean and Tyler Buckwalter; niece Katie Calibrigo; and many friends and extended family.

Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Sept. 7 in Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli.

Calling hour will begin 10 a.m. Pastor Larry French will officiate.
