Randall M. Young, 73, of Allentown, died Aug. 26, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice, 17th Street. He was the husband of the late Sandra M. (Furry) Young, who died in April. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Raymond M. and Shirley J. (Young) Andrews.

He was a graduate of Dieruff High School.

He was an adored chef at the former Captain’s Table for more than 20 years before retiring.

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the American Pool Players Association.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time at his cabin.

He is survived by daughters, Dawn M. Stewart and her husband, Bernard, of Allentown, Kimberly S. Sorber and her husband, Thomas, of Coopersburg; son, Michael R. and his wife, Susan, of Salisbury Township; sisters, Tess, Sheryl and Daphne; brothers, Craig and Greg; granddaughters, Kayla, Morgan, Sydney and Danika.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Allentown.
