Officers checked on the welfare of males in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue and at Main Street and Cherryville Road.

An animal complaint of dogs barking in the 100 block of Frank Drive was investigated.

A reported juvenile problem at West 15th Street and Newport Avenue was addressed.

Officer Torres assisted Coplay police with translation during an investigation at Third and Chestnut streets.

A domestic dispute occurred in the 900 block of Main Street.

An unwanted male and female in the 1600 block of Lincoln Avenue was reported.

A report of a white trailer taken from a backyard in the 2200 block of Main Street was filed with the department.

Police checked on the welfare of a male in the 2000 block of Main Street and on a female in the 1600 block of Washington Avenue.

Domestic disputes occurred in the 1300 block of Vienna Street and in the 1300 block of Washington Avenue.

A hit and run took place in the 100 block of Held Drive. A legally parked vehicle was struck in a parking lot, police said.

AUG. 13

Juvenile problems were addressed in the 2100 block of Washington Avenue and the 2000 block of Main Street.

Criminal mischief — damage to a screen door — in the 2100 block of Washington Avenue was reported.

A report of harassment by communication in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue was addressed.

A neighbor complaint in the 2700 block of Cherryville Road had police at the scene.

AUG. 14

Officers responded to domestic disputes in the 500 and 1400 blocks of Main Street.

A hit and run occurred in the 1700 block of Main Street. According to police, a legally parked vehicle was struck in the driver-side rear quarter panel by a woman pulling out of a parking space in a silver SUV with a roof rack. She left the scene without stopping.

Police assisted females in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue and the 400 block of East 12th Street.

A report of suspicious activity in the 1300 block of Main Street was investigated.

A report of an intoxicated male in the 2000 block of Main Street was filed with the department.
