Nancy Thomas, 91, died Aug. 28, 2024. She was the wife of the late John Paul Thomas, who died in 2009. The sixth of seven children, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Mills Eno and Laura Amanda Grazier Eno. Raised in rural Honesdale, she enjoyed picking strawberries and visiting the family dairy farm.

She was a loving wife, mother and talented homemaker, putting to good use all she had learned at Mansfield and from her own mother. When her children were older, she ran a carpet-cleaning business for several years.

She enjoyed quilting and sewing, making many of her own clothes and her children’s clothes, including her daughter’s wedding dress.

She golfed with her husband and friends at Brookside Country Club and couldn’t stay away from auctions. She liked to travel with her husband, sisters, Alice and Dorothy and family.

Her greatest joy was spending time with family. She loved family reunions and making crafts.
