Fullerton: St. John’s collecting food donations
For the month of September, St. John’s United Church of Christ will be collecting pancake mix, pancake syrup, peanut butter, jelly, pasta, canned carrots, canned potatoes, canned tuna, coffee and cereal. Place the items in the shopping cart in the coatroom by the sanctuary of the church, 575 Grape St.
Any other nonperishable food items and monetary contributions are always accepted.

The men’s breakfast group of St. John’s UCC holds its next meeting 8:30 a.m. Sept. 7 at Hamilton Family Restaurant, 2027 Hamilton St., Allentown. Meetings are held the first Saturday of the month.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., will be starting its Bible study Sept. 11, held 10 a.m. to approximately 11:30 a.m., in the large meeting room of the parish office. No registration is necessary, and all are welcome to attend.

St. Elizabeth’s 2025 Confirmation class is selling 9-inch hoagies and sandwiches to help fund a bus to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa for a retreat. Orders are due by Sept. 15.
An order form is in the bulletin; you can also call the church office at 610-266-0695 or visit sercc.org. Make checks payable to the church.
Pickup will be in the parish hall 3-4:30 p.m. Sept. 19.
