Northampton Area Middle School’s back to school night will be held 6-8 p.m. Sept. 12. Parents/guardians are invited to meet teachers and follow their child’s schedule for the evening. This is a great opportunity for those attending to become more familiar with their child’s school day.

Mark your calendar: Northampton Area High School’s band competition is set for 6-9 p.m. Sept. 14 at Al Erdosy Field. It will be an evening to enjoy with several school bands competing.

Join your community members to have fun, get fit and try something new!

Northampton community education classes begin 7:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 10-Oct. 22, with aqua aerobics at the NAMS natatorium.

There is a cost for the session, or you can pay a drop-in fee.

Yoga begins 7-8 p.m. Mondays, Sept. 9-30, at Siegfried Elementary School. There is a cost for the session and drop-in.

Looking ahead, country line dancing classes will start 7-8 p.m. Tuesdays, Oct. 1-22 at Siegfried Elementary.

Register for any of these classes at nasdschools.org. You do not need to be an NASD resident to participate.
