Debra A. Skrip, 64, of Emmaus, died Aug. 27, 2024, peacefully in her residence. She was the wife of Michael R. Skrip for 35 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Emily R. (Benedick) and Samuel N. Landis Sr.

She was a 1978 graduate of Emmaus High School.

She worked in accounts receivable for Rodale Press, last working in 1998.

She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Emmaus.

For more than 35 years, she enjoyed her winter trips to Florida and many visits to the Disney parks.

She is survived by her husband; son, Elliot Billman and fiancée, Jill and her children, Matthew and Lauren; sister, Juanita and her husband, Bill Wall; nieces, nephews, cousins; longtime caretakers, Tina, Vicki, Nicki. She was predeceased by brothers, Eugene Landis, Samuel N. Landis Jr.; sister, Carolyn Hunsicker.

Contributions may be made to the church or the Emmaus Lions Club, P.O. Box 66, Emmaus, 18049.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Sept. 4 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 415 S. Sixth St., Emmaus, 18049. Viewing 10-11 a.m. Sept. 4 in the church.

Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
