Tufts University

Car named to dean’s list

Hannah Car, of Coplay, Class of 2027, was named to the dean’s list at Tufts University for the spring 2024 semester. Dean’s list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade-point average of 3.4 or greater.

Tufts University, located on campuses in Boston, Medford/Somerville and Grafton, Mass., and in Talloires, France, is recognized among the premier research universities in the United States. University of Delaware

Students named to dean’s list

The following students have been named to the University of Delaware dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester. To meet eligibility requirements for this honor, a student must be enrolled full time and earn a GPA of 3.5 or above, on a 4.0 scale, for the semester.

Western University

Parker, Schwindenhammer graduate

Morgan Parker, of Northampton, and Jessica Schwindenhammer, of Whitehall, graduated from Pennsylvania Western University May 4. Nearly 1,800 students received undergraduate, masters and doctoral degrees.

Parker, who studied at PennWest’s Edinboro campus, graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts: applied media arts-cinema; Schwindenhammer, who studied at Penn- West’s Global Online campus, graduated with a Master of Science in information and library science.

Widener University

Hazim named to dean’s list

Widener University congratulates Hadil Hazim, of Whitehall, for achieving dean’s list status during the spring 2024 semester. The dean’s list recognizes full-time students who earned a GPA of 3.5 and above for the semester.

Central Penn College

Alderman earns dean’s list

Heather Alderman, of Whitehall, has been named to Central Penn College’s dean’s list for the spring 2024 term. Alderman is currently majoring in computer information systems. Of the students who took classes, 36% made this list. To qualify for the designation, an undergraduate student must carry six or more credits and earn a GPA of 3.5 or better for the term.

Pennsylvania Montclair State University

Batista named to dean’s list

Katelyn Batista, of Whitehall, has been named to the spring 2024 dean’s list at Montclair State University. Batista is a dance major. Batista was among more than 6,000 Red Hawks named to this list. To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Building on a distinguished history dating back to 1908, Montclair State University has evolved from an institution that was a recognized leader in teacher education to an R2 research institution ranked as one of the 100 best public doctoral universities in the nation. The university serves 22,000 undergraduate and graduate students with more than 300 doctoral, master’s and baccalaureate programs provided by 13 colleges and schools.
