Kathryn “Katie” Louise Kricks, 97, of Bethlehem, died August 10, 2024. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of William H. and Dorothy (Newhard) Knopf. She was the wife of Joseph H. Kricks for 73 years.

She was a 1945 graduate of Liberty H.S. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Moravian College in 1949.

She was both a mentor and friend, and touched the lives of many.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two grandchildren, Sarah Petryk and her husband John Nee Jr. of Salisbury Township and Jonathan Petryk and his wife Michelle of Salisbury, Massachusetts; two great-grandchildren, Magnolia Nee and Garrett Petryk; and a son-in-law, David Blankenship of Bethlehem.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Louisa Blankenship.
