Mary Ann H. Maritch, 81, died peacefully, surrounded by family on Aug. 24, 2024.

Born Jan. 19, 1943, in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Hilda Luisser of Northampton.

An Allentown Central Catholic High School and St. Luke’s School of Nursing graduate, she was a registered nurse for 50 years in a variety of capacities and locations throughout the Lehigh Valley.

Her survivors include sons Ken Maritch (Marie) and Mark Maritch, (Lori); daughters Lynn Haines (Rick) and Michelle Perl (Tyke); grandchildren Megan Anewalt (Zack), Erin Maritch, Sean Maritch, Thomas Gubish, Nick Maritch (Kailie), Luke Maritch (Kate), Tyler Haines, Alex Haines (Laura), Robbie Perl (Helen), and Ryan Perl (Rachel); great-grandchildren Abby, Mason, Julian, Quinn, Bryce, Charlotte and Teddy; and her sister Irene Ebner.

She was predeceased by her brothers Thomas and Stephen.

Out of all of her accomplishments, she was most proud of her four children.

In addition to spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she loved rescuing Bichons, especially her pets Sophie, Lilly and Winston.

She enjoyed a good cup of coffee and going out for breakfast.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.
