Brad Paisley

Brad Paisley, 7 p.m. Aug 30, Fairgrounds Grandstand. Bradley Douglas Paisley, born Oct. 28, 1972, in Glen Dale, W. Va., began playing guitar at age eight. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Belmont University, Nashville, Tenn., in 1999. The country music singer-songwriter-guitarist has released 13 studio albums, from “Who Needs Pictures” (1999) to “Son of the Mountains” (2024). He has sold more than 11 million albums worldwide and has had 35 Top 10 singles on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, with 20 at No. 1, including “He Didn’t Have to Be,” “Me Neither,” “We Danced,” “Mud on the Tires,” “Celebrity,” “Whiskey Lullaby,” “Alcohol,” “When I Get Where I’m Going,” “The World,” “She’s Everything,” “Ticks,” “Online,” “Letter to Me,” “I’m Still a Guy,” “Start a Band,” “Then,” “On Alabama,” “Remind Me,” “Perfect Storm” and “Today.” It’s the third time that Paisley is headlining the Allentown Fair Grandstand, including 2007, when Taylor Swift opened for him, and in 2009. Paisley and his wife, actress Kimberly Williams, have two sons and live in Franklin, Tenn. In 2023, Paisley became an ambassador of the United24 project for “Rebuilding Ukraine.”
