Welcome back, Salisbury

Salisbury Township School District held its opening convocation Aug. 22 for every employee of the school district. The day began at Salisbury High School with a light continental breakfast along with national speaker and author, Tom Murray sharing a message - Together ... we can make this the best year yet! The afternoon was dedicated to building-specific activities. ABOVE: Fifth grade student speaker Connor Simmons captivates the audience of teachers, staff and administrators as he speaks about teachers who have helped him on his academic journey and offers advice to faculty and staff as the new school year begins. He closed with a joke and was given a standing ovation.
The Salisbury cheerleaders do what they do best – get everyone excited for the 2024-2025 school year.
Honored for 20 years of service are Eric Molitoris, Donita Marze and Angela Xander.
Barbara Yetter and Michaeleen Reinhard are honored for their 30 years of dedicated service to the district.
State Rep. Peter Schweyer, D-134th, offers words of encouragement to district employees as they begin another school year.
