St. Peter Roman Catholic Church member
Ronald C. Deutsch, 81, of Whitehall, died Aug. 21, 2024, at Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown. He was the husband of Rita M. (Strongowski) Deutsch for 60 years.
Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late Edward A. and Anna (Halushak) Deutsch.
He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Allentown.
He worked in maintenance for Cross Country Clothes until they closed. He worked at and retired from Lutron.
He was a lifelong and active member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay, where he served as an usher.
He was a member of American Club of Coplay and Koplay Keystone Kops.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Deborah A. Yohn and husband James D., Sharon A. Kromer, Lisa A. Yandrasitz and husband Scott F. and Lori A. Wielgus and husband James B.; a son, Brian K. and wife Stephanie L.; a sister, Mary Suppan and husband Thomas; two brothers, Gerald M. and companion Ethel Lavenburg and Patrick; 14 grandchildren, Sean, Jacqlyn, Kyle, Zachary, Joshua, Matthew, Eric, Haley, Jeremy, Kayla, Brandon, Andrew, Michael and Amanda; and four great-grandchildren, Henry, Elena, Harley and Hensley.
He was predeceased by a brother, Dennis J.
