Rodney W. Slota, 65, of Center Valley, died Aug. 16, 2024, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Joan (Kester) Slota for 37 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late William and Mildred Pauline (Danenhower) Slota.

He graduated from William Allen High School in 1977 and earned his bachelor’s degree in geology from Penn State University in 1981 and a master’s degree in business from Texas A&M University in 1982.

He was a member of Chestnut Hill Church U.C.C., Coopersburg and Boy Scouts of America where he earned his Eagle Scout rank.

He loved craft shows where he and his wife were vendors. He made Pysanky eggs, picture frames and ornaments.

He loved to travel and vacation in Disney World.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Kimberly and Stephanie; aunt, Mildred Wilburn; brother-in-law, George Kester; many cousins.
