Joan F. Mabus, 90, formerly of Emmaus, died peacefully at Phoebe of Allentown. She was the wife of the late Donald E. Mabus who died in 2021. She was the daughter of the late Lester M. and Martha (Reiss) Meyers.

She graduated from Emmaus High School in 1953 and was a teacher’s aide for the East Penn School District for 27 years, retiring in 1999.

She was a member of Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, Emmaus. She was a leader with Pioneer Girls at the church and sang in the choir.

She is survived by a son, Daniel A. (Julie); daughter, Deborah L.; granddaughters, Tabitha Rachel Pickney (Austin), Abigail, Rebekah, Serenity; grandsons, Justus, Micah.

A calling hour will be held 10-11 a.m. Aug. 28 with services 11 a.m. in the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus.
