The final performance of the summer concert series is set for 7-10 p.m. Aug. 30. Hunkajunk will take the stage at the amphitheater at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.

Catasauqua Garden Club will next meet Sept. 4 to focus on shrub and perennial care. The meeting will start 1 p.m. at Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua.

Tom Shedlock, a Pennsylvania Master Gardener, will share his experiences.

Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, 330 Second St., is celebrating its 100th anniversary 1-5 p.m. Sept. 7. Food will be provided by the Sons and Riders of the Legion.

There will also be a deejay 1-5 p.m., as well as a historical presentation.

Salem United Church of Christ, 615 Third St., will hold a flea market and basket raffle 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Sept. 7. There will be attic treasures, gift baskets for a raffle, baked goods, a book sale, pickled beets and more.
