Barry L. Molnar, 72, of Whitehall, died Aug. 20, 2024, at Heather Glen Senior Living, Allentown. He was the husband of Penny L. (McCandless) Molnar for 51 years.

Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late John Sr. and Dorothy (Kohler) Molnar.

He was a 1969 graduate of Northampton High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Lehigh University in 1973. In 1978, he achieved his Master of Business Administration from George Mason University, Fairfax, Va.

He was last employed at Air Products and Chemical Corp., Allentown, where he worked for 17 years before retiring in 2009. Previously, he was an auditor for nine years with the general accounting office in Washington, D.C.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Emily A. and husband John Cupples of Coopersburg and Anne E. and husband Jeffrey Bauder of Slatington; and four grandchildren, Hailey and Connor and Mason and Alice.

He was predeceased by a brother, John Jr.

Services are private.
