Veteran assistance hours scheduled

Rep. Milou Mackenzie, R-131st, is offering veteran assistance hours 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 28 at her Bethlehem office, 1425 Mountain Drive N.

The office hours are primarily designed for local veterans to ask questions about programs and services available to them.

Services for veterans and their dependents include assistance with compensation, pension and death benefits, education and health care, plus other benefits.

Veterans do not need a membership with the American Legion to receive these services.
