Student earns
spot on sports team
Trevor Leverington of Kutztown and the Kutztown University baseball team earned a spot on the 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team as of June 6.
It is the first Academic All-District recognition honor for Leverington.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50.
Leverington earned his undergraduate degree in business administration with a focus in accounting and had a 3.51 GPA.
He received his MBA this spring and graduated with a 3.79 GPA.
The 2024 Academic All-District Baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.
The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions - NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2023-24 Divisions II and III Academic All-America programs.
The NAIA CSC Academic All-America program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
