William P. Easterly, 87, of Salisbury Township, died Aug. 11, 2024, in St. Luke’s Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late William L. and Anastasia Jeanne (Oxford) Easterly. He was the husband of Constance “Connie” (Remo) Easterly for 67 years.
He was a 1954 graduate of Liberty H.S., Bethlehem, and attended Northampton County Community College.
He worked in sales for Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Bethlehem, for 27 years. He later worked in sales and marketing at the former R.L. Fitzwater Brokerage Firm, New Jersey, until he retired.
He was a member of St. Paul’s R.C. Church, Allentown.
He volunteered for the Shakespeare Festival at DeSales University. He was active with youth for many years as a coach, counselor and Assistant Cub Master with the Boy Scouts.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, William “Bill” P. Jr. and his wife Elyse of Parrish, Florida; two grandchildren, Rebecca Ann Clark and her husband Jeremy and William P. Easterly III.
He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Jeanne Burgermeister.
