Mark M. Piechota, 67, of Bethlehem, died August 9, 2024, at home. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Stanley F. and Mary M. (Michaels) Piechota, for whom he was for many years the primary caregiver.
He was a Freedom H.S. graduate.
He worked in the metal fabrication industry at Apollo Metal. He was a member of Piechota Racing and raced stock cars at Dorney Park. In the late 1970s, he and his family established the Piechota Brothers auto body collision shop, where he worked for many years.
He was a carpenter, hunter and fisherman.
He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Bethlehem.
He is survived by two sisters, Joan (Forrest) Voytko of Hecktown and Janet A. (James T.) Fandl; seven nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and good friends.
He was predeceased by a brother, Gregory J. Piechota.
