St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, offered Decades of Worship services this summer from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.
On Aug. 25 at 9 a.m., the style will move to the early 2000s.
Planners report every decade has brought changes in worship and the words used in the church.
The worship and music committee seeks to help the congregation honor the past while also looking ahead to the future in providing the foundation for praising God.
