The Greater Allentown CROP will be hosting the following upcoming events at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 140 S. Ott St., Allentown.

A pizza party/kickoff will take place 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Aug. 25.

The Hunger Walk is 1:30 p.m. Oct. 13. Registration begins 1 p.m.

There will be a 10K route and a “Golden Mile” route.

Walkers or team leaders should register at crophungerwalk.org/allentownpa.

Walkers who raise $150 or more by Oct. 13 will earn a free T-shirt.

T-shirts will also be available for purchase at the CROP Hunger Walk on Oct. 13.

The CROP Hunger Walk is a great intergenerational fellowship and service event for families, youth groups, adult groups, businesses, organizations, and congregations.

The Greater Allentown CROP Hunger Walk helps food-insecure neighbors locally through the Conference Kitchen and the Allentown Area Ecumenical Food Bank.

This CROP Walk funds also support Church World Service’s lifesaving disaster assistance, displacement assistance, and long-term development assistance with our neighbors in need throughout the United States and around the globe.
