Louise A. Schultz, 77, of Orefield, died Aug. 3, 2024.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Laird and Kathryn (Lichtenwalner) Smith.

She grew up on the family farm in Upper Macungie.

A 1965 graduate of Parkland High School, she followed the family tradition of attending Kutztown University for teaching.

She ran her own preschool, Peanuts Nursery School, then later working and retiring from Lehigh County.

She was best known for her worldly travels, her outgoing personality, and her volunteer work for many local organizations.

She was an active member of the Macungie Women’s Club.

She will be dearly missed by her son, Joseph and his wife, Tracey Schultz; daughters Rebecca Sisko and Kristine Horn; grandchildren Liam and Ryan Horn, Timothy and Kathryn Sisko, and Joseph and Erica Schultz; and great-granddaughter Josie Horn.

She was predeceased by her brother Richard Smith.
