Harry F. “Butch” Moyer, 83, of Allentown, died Aug. 11, 2024, at home.

He and his wife, Beverly A. (Lowe) Moyer, were high school sweethearts, married 62 years in June.

Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Ernest and Geneva (Faust) Moyer.

A 1959 graduate of Easton High School, he worked for the former Sheffey’s International and then for W.J. Lowe and Sons stone quarry. He was co-owner and then owner of Lowe and Moyer Garage Inc., Fogelsville, since 1966, still currently a family business.

He was a member of the former Lehigh Valley Quarter Midget Club, Kuhnsville, and enjoyed spending time at their lake house and in Florida.

Being a huge NASCAR fan, he especially enjoyed the Daytona races.

A devoted family man, he will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Lawrence S. Moyer (Nancy) of Fogelsville, Todd A. Moyer (Diane) of Allentown, and Suzanne A. Ferrel (George) of Macungie; sister Patricia Lutz of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; grandchildren Nicole Bowser (Eric), Todd Moyer, Jr. (Meagan), Jason Moyer (Amanda), Brandi Getz (Jon), Brooke Moyer, Courtney Moyer (Maria), Jordan Ferrel (Tyler), and Tyler Ferrel; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Lucas, Levi and Isaac; and nieces Laurie and Ginger.

His funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Aug. 16 at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville.

Visitation will be 6:30-8 p.m. Aug. 15 and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Interment at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Easton.
