Elizabeth D. Hess, 96, died peacefully on Aug. 12, 2024, in Fellowship Retirement Community, Whitehall.

Born 1928, in Aschaffenburg, Germany, she was a former resident of Coplay.

She was employed by the Whitehall-Coplay School District for many years before retiring.

She was the wife of the late Kenneth Hess, who died in April 1960.

Her survivors include a daughter Erika and husband Jay; son Keith; daughter Judy; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
