William P. Easterly, 87, of Salisbury Township, died Aug. 11, 2024, in St. Luke’s Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township. He and his wife, Constance (Remo) Easterly, shared 67 years of marriage. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late William L. and Anastasia Jeanne (Oxford) Easterly.
He was a 1954 graduate of Liberty High School, Bethlehem and attended Northampton County Community College.
He worked in sales for Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Bethlehem, for 27 years and later in sales and marketing at the former R.L. Fitzwater Brokerage firm in New Jersey, until retiring.
He was a member of St. Paul’s R.C. Church, Allentown.
He was a volunteer for the Shakespeare Festival held at DeSales University and was active with youth for many years as a coach, counselor and assistant Cubmaster with the Boy Scouts.
He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, liked to read and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan.
He is survived by his wife; son, William P. “Bill” Jr. and his wife, Elyse, of Parrish, Fla.; grandchildren, Rebecca Ann Clark and her husband, Jeremy, William P. III. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Jeanne Burgermeister.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Aug. 14 in St. Paul’s R.C. Church, 920 S. Second St., Allentown. A viewing will be held 10 a.m. until the time of the service in the church.
Arrangements are entrusted to the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Allentown.
