Burglary

An oven was removed from a residence under construction along August Avenue, Lower Macungie Township, between noon July 26 and 12:42 p.m. July 31, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The oven is valued at $808.98.

Retail theft

Two people worked together to swindle $520.82 in store credit and remove approximately $307.98 worth of merchandise at Dick’s Sporting Goods, 707 N. Krocks Road, Suite 101, Lower Macungie Township, between July 6 and July 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Criminal mischief

Someone shattered a rear window of an SUV and a large window of a house at a location along Fritch Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 4:15 and 4:30 p.m. July 17, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Damage to the vehicle was calculated to be $609.32 and damage to the window pane was estimated at $375. Anyone with information or surveillance video of the incident is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Theft

Someone removed packages containing three Samsung cellphones with a total value of $1,800, trash bags valued at $40 and furniture sliders, valued at $13, from the doorstep of a residence along Meadowview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 4:16 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. July 30, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Identity theft

A resident of Aster Road, Lower Macungie Township, learned someone used a website scam to access their credit card information through an online purchase for $218.78 between July 23 and July 25, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The bank refunded the resident.
