Ronald C. Smith, 85, of Lower Macungie Township, died peacefully, Aug. 6, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital — Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Doris A. (Keiper) Smith for 53 years. Born in Washington, N.J., he was the son of the late Merlin A. and Margaret M. (Morris) Smith.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy.

He was employed by the Credit Bureau of Allentown, retiring as the chief executive officer.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Chrislyn S. Russamano and her husband, Michael; son, Darin A. and his wife, Jill; grandchildren, Andrew, Sara, Kaylin, Abigail, Luke, Ethan, Aaron, Irina; brother, Dale A. and his wife, Grace.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Aug. 15 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 10-11 a.m. Aug. 15 in the funeral home.
